ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Envoy to the UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmizi visited the Pakistan Pavilion at Beauty World Middle East 2024 on Monday, praising Pakistani exhibitors for introducing innovative and high-quality products to the GCC region.
Ambassador Tirmizi said that the participation of Pakistani companies in the exhibition represents a significant step toward promoting the country’s beauty and personal care products on a global scale.
Held from October 28-30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Beauty World Middle East 2024 is one of the world’s leading beauty trade exhibitions, featuring over 1,800 exhibitors from 60 countries.
A total of sixteen Pakistani exhibitors are showcasing a diverse array of products in Zabeel Hall 2, including hair care, cosmetics, skincare, fragrance compounds, perfumery, machinery, and personal care and hygiene products. Their participation is supported by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), according to a press release.
Earlier, Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion, highlighting the event as an opportunity for Pakistani businesses to present competitive products to the global market, fostering exports and attracting international investment. He commended the exhibitors for their commitment to product diversification and market expansion.
The Consul General also emphasized the consulate’s commitment to supporting Pakistani exports in Dubai’s globalized market.
TDAP’s support includes subsidized stalls, enabling Pakistani exhibitors to maximize their exposure on this high-profile platform.
Moreover, the commercial section of the Consulate in Dubai, led by Trade & Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, is providing on-ground assistance to ensure that Pakistani brands gain significant visibility.
