ISLAMABAD: A high court in Pakistan on Friday directed the police to intensify efforts to recover Muhammad Faizan, an activist from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) who is currently missing.
During the hearing, Islamabad High Court (IHC) Judge Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb ordered the capital territory police to proceed with the recovery petition for the missing PTI worker.
The case, previously heard by Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir, has been described as a potential enforced disappearance.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing till August 20.
