ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar extended his congratulations to the nation on Thursday following the successful conclusion of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government (CHG) meeting held in Islamabad.
“As our guests leave Islamabad after attending the 23rd Meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government, I want to congratulate the Pakistani nation on the successful conclusion of the conference and thank all government departments, officials, and bodies for their invaluable contributions in making the event memorable,” the Deputy PM stated on his official X account.
He acknowledged the leading role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighting the support from the ministries of interior and information, the Capital Development Authority, and the leadership of security and law enforcement agencies.
“I am very proud of the entire Pakistan Team for making the event a great success, Alhamdulillah,” he remarked.
Additionally, during his address to the officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Foreign Service of Pakistan Day, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the dedication and commitment of the Foreign Service and the significant contributions of Pakistani diplomats. He particularly commended their role in successfully organizing the 23rd SCO Council of Heads of Government Meeting in Islamabad.
