Pakistan’s Deputy PM Visits Kazakhstan to Attend SCO Meeting

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has reached Astana, Kazakhstan, to attend the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Upon his arrival at the airport, he was greeted by Nursalimuly Yergalym, Director of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan’s Ambassador in Astana, Nauman Bashir Bhatti, and Pakistan’s National Coordinator for the SCO, Ambassador Marghoob Saleem Butt.
While in Astana, Deputy Prime Minister Dar is scheduled to hold a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, later today. The meeting aims to discuss the current situation in Bishkek, particularly focusing on ensuring the well-being of Pakistani students.
