Pakistan’s Energy Minister Arrives in Tehran to Discuss Progress on Pak-Iran Power Project

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Minister for Power Division Engineer Khurram Dastgir has arrived in Tehran to discuss progress on Pak-Iran Power Project with the Iranian government authorities.

A statement issued on Saturday stated that Pakistan would import 100 MW of electricity from Iran.

The statement added that the work on the transmission line for the Pak-Iran power project is going on a fast track and will be completed in record time.

Minister to address Pakistan Day ceremony in Tehran

The energy minister will also address the ceremony concerning Pakistan Day in Tehran in the evening.

Apart from Iranian civil and military officials, diplomats from other countries will also participate in the Pakistan Day event.
