BEIJING: Pakistan’s exports to China surpassed $468 million during January and February this year, said Ghulam Qadir, Investment and Trade Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan in China.

The General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC) provided data indicating a 4.96% year-on-year increase in Pakistan’s exports to China during this period.

This growth resulted in exports reaching $468.47 million in the first two months of 2024, compared to $446.31 million in the corresponding months of the previous year.

Qadir highlighted the strong demand for Pakistani textiles, leather goods, seafood, and agricultural products in China, enabling Pakistani exporters to seize the opportunity and enhance their exports to the Chinese market.
