CANBERRA: Pakistan’s Nasir Iqbal has secured a place in the final of the Bega Open Squash tournament in Australia, continuing his impressive run in the sport. In a gripping semi-final match, Iqbal defeated Switzerland’s Robin Gadola with a scoreline of 6-11, 11-4, 2-11, and 3-11.

The match began with Iqbal taking the first game, only for Gadola to level the score in the second game. Despite this setback, Iqbal displayed remarkable resilience and tactical prowess to dominate the final two games, ultimately earning his spot in the tournament’s final.

Iqbal’s performance this year has been outstanding, marked by a consistent climb in the PSA rankings and victories in three Australian tournaments.
