Pakistan’s New FBR Chairman Takes Charge

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) newly appointed Chairman Rashid Mahmood Langrial assumed charge of his office at the FBR Headquarters on Thursday.

Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by former Chairman Malik Amjed Zubair Tiwana, along with members and senior officers of the Board.

Following the formalities, Chairman Langrial held an introductory meeting with the FBR team, where he assured his full support in helping the Board achieve its targets.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appointed Rashid Mahmood Langrial as the new Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday.

Langrial, a BS-21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Services, previously served as Federal Secretary of the Power Division before his appointment as head of the FBR.
