Pakistan’s PM Arrives in Dubai for UN Climate Conference COP28

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has landed in Dubai to participate in the 28th United Nations Conference of Parties (COP28).

Upon arrival at Al-Maktoum Airport, he was warmly received by Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, the Minister for Justice of the United Arab Emirates, alongside Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE and the Pakistani diplomatic staff.

Heading the Pakistani delegation at COP28, the Prime Minister is set to engage in discussions and activities during the World Climate Action Summit scheduled for December 1 and 2.

Joining the Prime Minister, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Caretaker Federal Minister for Climate Change Ahmed Irfan Aslam, and Caretaker Energy Minister Muhammad Ali are also slated to participate actively in COP28.
