Pakistan’s PM, Fazlur Rehman Discuss Political Situation

ISLAMABAD: Amir of xJammiat-e-Ulema Islam (F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House.

During the meeting, the overall national and political situation was discussed.

Local media reported that both the leaders discussed the ongoing political situation in the aftermath of PTI decision to dissolve Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab assemblies.

Government focussing on economic development: PM

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz said that the government is focusing on improving the country’s economic condition and soon the centre will provide relief to the masses.

Taking a shot at deposed Prime Minister Imran Khan, the PDM chief stated that he wants to create chaos in the country by dissolving assemblies.

While both leaders ruled out the PTI chief’s demand for early elections in the country and vowed not to accept any pressure.

Later, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah also called on the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed maters of mutual interest and development projects.

The Chief Minister briefed the premier about the ongoing development projects in the province. The Prime Minister ensured the Chief Minister that the federal government will extend every possible support to the province to complete the development projects in the best interest of the country.
