KUWAIT CITY: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, called on Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, on Wednesday.
During the meeting, PM Kakar reaffirmed the significance that Pakistan places on its relationship with Kuwait and expressed the commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation across various domains. He highlighted the determination to strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and Kuwait, encompassing trade, labor, IT, minerals, energy, and investments.
Anwaarul Haq Kakar conveyed his contentment with the robust collaboration between the two countries at multinational forums. He commended Kuwait for its efforts in recruiting Pakistani manpower, particularly in the fields of health, security, and infrastructure.
In response, the Crown Prince of Kuwait echoed the Prime Minister’s sentiments and reiterated Kuwait’s leadership’s eagerness to further deepen and broaden the bilateral relations with Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister is on a two-day official visit to Kuwait to expand bilateral relations and attract investment in multiple areas by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), aiming to transform the longstanding six-decade bilateral relations into mutually beneficial economic ties.
