Pakistan’s PM Meets Joe Biden at US President’s Reception

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended a reception hosted by US President Joe Biden in honor of heads of state and government participating in the 79th Session of United Nations General Assembly session, reported State run Radio Pakistan on Saturday.

During the event, President Biden and Prime Minister Sharif met and exchanged warm wishes. Other heads of state from various countries were also in attendance at the dinner.

During the meeting, they have reiterated their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in key areas, including trade, investment, technology, and climate action.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced this on his X account following a reception in New York hosted by President Joe Biden for world leaders attending the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly session in New York.

Sharif characterized his brief meeting with President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden during the event as warm and cordial.
