Pakistan’s PM Offers Condolences to Kuwait on Sad Demise of Emir Sheikh Nawaf

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar visited Kuwait on Monday to offer condolences over the sad demise of the Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

During his meeting with the new Emir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister offered sincerest and heartfelt condolences on behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan. He said that the Pakistani nation stands united with its Kuwaiti brothers in this time of sorrow and grief.

The prime minister said that Kuwait has lost a visionary leader who transformed his country into a prosperous one. He will be remembered as a well-wisher and friend of Pakistan, PM Kakar said, adding that the late emir’s great contributions in advancing bilateral between Pakistan and Kuwait will always be remembered.

Emir Sheikh Meshal Expresses Gratitude for Pakistan

Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah thanked the government, leadership, and the people of Pakistan for standing with the people of Kuwait in this time of grief.

He expressed full support for Pakistan-Kuwait ties and affirmed his commitment to further augment this relationship.
