Pakistan’s PM Optimistic About Growing Economic Ties with Kazakhstan

ISLAMABAD: Kazakhstan’s delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin on Friday called on Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the Kazakh delegation and appreciated that signing three MoUs on Aviation, Investment, and Banking Cooperation would enhance trade and economic relations and spur people-to-people contacts.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the IJC decisions agreed upon during its 11th Session and expressed satisfaction with the concurrent holding of the Joint Business Council, which brought businessmen from both countries together.

Trade, Economic Ties with Kazakhstan

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the warm welcome to the delegation. He said that the fruitful interaction between the two countries would continue to flourish in the future.

The Prime Minister reiterated that the friendship between Pakistan and Kazakhstan is deepening the successful holding of IJC is testimony to the developing relationship.

The delegation is on an official visit to attend the 11th Session of the Inter-governmental Joint Commission.
