Pakistan’s PM Pledges Full Backing for Civil Armed Forces in Anti-Smuggling Drive

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, chairing an important meeting, has directed to ensure that the Civil Armed Forces are equipped with all necessary facilities, equipment, and technology to effectively combat smuggling activities.
During the meeting held here in Islamabad on Saturday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif admired the dedication and sacrifices of the Civil Armed Forces in their relentless efforts against smuggling, honouring the memory of those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Despite facing formidable challenges, he emphasized the government’s unwavering support for the Civil Armed Forces in their anti-smuggling endeavours.
The Prime Minister underscored that the government remains committed to providing comprehensive assistance to the Civil Armed Forces, acknowledging their pivotal role in safeguarding national interests.
Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir participated in the meeting.
