ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on Wednesday held a one-on-one at the PM’s House in Islamabad and discussed matters of bilateral interest.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed international and regional issues besides focusing on strengthening their relations in diverse fields.
Later, the two leaders led the delegation-level talks.
Earlier, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon was accorded a red-carpet welcome at the Prime Minister’s House.
Tajikistan President receives red-carpet welcome
PM Shehbaz Sharif received Tajikistan’s president on his arrival at the PM House in Islamabad. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Rahmon introduced their delegations to each other.
The Cooperation in various fields and strengthening of bilateral relations between Tajikistan President countries will be discussed, and several bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed at the PM house.
The Cooperation in various fields and the growth of the geo-economic partnership between both countries will also be strengthened after the visit of the Tajik President to Pakistan.
