Pakistan’s PM Urges Overseas Pakistanis for Investments, Assures Govt Support

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Tuesday urged the Pakistani diaspora to invest in the country, assuring them of the government’s full support and all possible facilities.

The premier said that safeguarding the rights of overseas Pakistanis is a top priority for the federal government. The prime minister made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of overseas Pakistanis led by Nouman Mustafa, said the PM Office Media Wing in a press release.

Prime Minister Kakar highlighted the importance of legally and safely transferring remittances from Pakistanis residing abroad for the country’s progress. He urged them to utilize the Roshan Digital Pakistan Account for remittance transfers, emphasizing its safety and potential contribution to improving the national economy.

Moreover, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar assured the delegation that the government is committed to protecting their investments and properties, emphasizing zero tolerance for any leniency in that regard.
