Pakistan’s President Congratulates Claudia Sheinbaum on Becoming First Mexico’s Woman President

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari extended heartfelt congratulations to Claudia Sheinbaum on her historic election as Mexico’s first woman president.

Sharing his goodwill sentiments via the official social media platform X of the President of Pakistan, Zardari hailed this milestone achievement as a momentous occasion for both Mexico and the global community.

In his post, Asif Ali Zardari drew parallels to Pakistan’s own trailblazing figure. He noted that the late Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was the first woman Prime Minister of the Muslim World, who dedicated herself to the struggle for democracy and women’s empowerment.

“Congratulations President Claudia Sheinbaum @Claudiashein on your historic election as the first woman President of Mexico. I’m proud to share that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was the first woman Prime Minister of the Muslim World, who struggled for democracy and women’s empowerment,” he said in his tweet.

He affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties under Sheinbaum’s leadership, emphasizing the importance of fostering cooperation and mutual prosperity between the two nations.
