Pakistan’s President Distributes Gold Medals

LAHORE: Pakistan’s President Dr. Arif Alvi distributed gold medals at the 29th annual ceremony organized by Tehreek-e-Pakistan Workers Trust in Lahore.

During the event, he emphasized the significance of recognizing the valuable contributions of those who played a role in the creation of Pakistan.

President Alvi highlighted the visionary ideas of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, emphasizing education and the concept of the Muslim Ummah.

He praised Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s trust in students and his avoidance of sectarianism. President Alvi called for a reflection on history to fulfill the vision of Pakistan’s founders and stressed the importance of justice and morality in society.

Addressing the use of social media, he acknowledged its power but expressed concern about the spread of fake news.

Regarding the Palestine issue, he called on the international community to contribute to a lasting solution. Mian Farooq Altaf and Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed also addressed the gathering.
