ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and people of Turkiye on the occasion of their 101st Republic Day.
In a statement issued from the President House, Asif Ali Zardari conveyed his greetings to the government and people of Turkiye on the occasion of their 101st Republic Day.
He said that Turkiye has made significant advancements across various sectors over the past century and expressed hope that the nation would achieve even more milestones under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to a press release from the President’s House.
He highlighted Turkiye’s consistent support for issues facing the Muslim world and reiterated that the government and people of Pakistan wish for Turkiye’s progress and prosperity, emphasizing the mutual support both countries have provided during challenging times.
Zardari also remarked that the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Turkiye has strengthened over time.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the entire Turkish nation as the country celebrates its 101st Republic Day.
“I would like to congratulate my dear brother H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the entire Turkish nation on their 101st Republic Day. As you celebrate this momentous occasion, Pakistan takes great pride in your remarkable progress and achievements,” the prime minister wrote on his X timeline who reached Saudi Arabia for a two-day official visit to attend the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII).
He expressed confidence that the historic brotherly ties between the two nations would continue to strengthen with every passing day.
“Together, we will take this special relationship to even greater heights. Long Live Pakistan-Turkiye friendship,” he remarked.
