ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have lauded Pakistan security forces’ successful operation against Khawarij terrorists in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan.
In a statement, President Zardari paid tribute to the brave soldiers including Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shoukat of the Pakistan Army for sacrificing their lives while fighting the Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, paid tribute to Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shoukat and five other soldiers for embracing martyrdom while bravely fighting the terrorists.
PM Shehbaz prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks in Jannah and expressed condolences to their families.
The Prime Minister said the Pakistan Army has rendered unparalleled sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He said the entire nation pays tribute to the martyrs.
