Pakistan’s President, PM Vow No Compromise on Peace, National Security

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed that there will be no compromise on the nation’s peace and security and that Fitna-al Khawarij will not be allowed to sow chaos.

In separate statements, they paid tribute to the armed forces for their successful operation against Khawarij in the Khyber district. They expressed a firm resolve to continue the fight against terrorism until it is eradicated from the country.

President Zardari declared that the Pakistani nation is prepared to make any sacrifice necessary for the country’s safety and security.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif echoed this sentiment, stating that the entire nation stands united with the armed forces to defeat Fitna-al Khawarij. He honored the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the operation and highlighted that their relentless efforts for peace will not be forgotten.
