ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting an Imam Bargah in Muscat, the capital city of Oman.
In a statement, the president expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in the incident. “We stand by the members of the victim families as well as the people of Oman in this hour of grief,” the president said.
President Zardari also conveyed his condolence to the grieved families of the Pakistani nationals also killed in the incident. The president prayed to Allah Almighty for peace for the departed souls and strength for the bereaved families to bear the loss.
