ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday congratulated the nation and Muslims around the world on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his message, the president said that Ramadan provides us with a golden opportunity to become an ideal Muslim by devoting ourselves to the obedience and servitude of the Allah Almighty.
He also urged philanthropists to pay zakat and do more charity in the holy month of Ramadan to support the needy and destitute.
Pakistan’s President Urges Global Community to Help Palestinians
Moreover, President Zardari appealed to the global community and the Muslim Ummah to help the oppressed Palestinians as well.
He called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and taking practical measures to stop the genocide of innocent Palestinians.
