ISLAMABAD: After unveiling the schedule for the 2024 general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) made a significant revelation on Monday, disclosing that registered voters in the country have surpassed 128 million.
The released details indicate that, ahead of the upcoming elections, the total number of registered voters in Pakistan exceeds 128.585 million.
Moreover, the ECP reported that 53.87 percent of the registered voters are male, while 46.13 percent are female. The specific figures show that the country has over 69.263 million male voters and more than 59.322 million female voters.
According to the Election Commission, the total number of voters in Islamabad is 1.083 million. Meanwhile, the total number of voters in Punjab is over 73.278 million.
The total number of voters in Sindh is 26.994 million. The total number of voters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 21.928 million.
