RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces killed five terrorists during an intelligence-based operation on the reported presence of terrorists in the Khyber district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release on Sunday night.
According to ISPR, on Monday, June 16, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Khyber district on the reported presence of terrorists.
During the conduct of the operation, Pakistan’s security forces troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, as a result of which five terrorists were sent to hell, ISPR stated.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in various terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians, ISPR added.
Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as the security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
