Pakistan’s Security Forces Kill Seven Terrorists in North Waziristan

ISPR says security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism.

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces killed seven terrorists in two separate operations in the North Waziristan district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military media wing stated in a news release on Wednesday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military media wing, “An intelligence-based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in Miran Shah area of North Waziristan district on the reported presence of Khwarij (terrorists).”

During the conduct of the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location and killed four terrorists.

In another encounter that took place in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan, security forces killed three more terrorists.

“However, during the intense fire exchange, one brave son of soil, Lance Naik Muhammad Amin (age: 34 years, resident of Faisalabad district), having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat (martyrdom),” ISPR stated.

Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area.

“Security Forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” ISPR resolved.

On Tuesday, security forces killed 15 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the border area of Zhob district when they were entering the Sambaza area from Afghanistan.

During the heavy exchange of fire, a soldier embraced martyrdom, ISPR stated.

ISPR stated that the operation was conducted in the Sambaza area of Zhob. It added that during the operation, security forces effectively targeted the terrorists’ location, killing 15 terrorists.

President, PM Laud Security Forces

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the security forces for killing seven terrorists in the North Waziristan district.

In their separate messages, the President and Prime Minister paid homage to Lance Naik Muhammad Amin Shaheed for embracing martyrdom while fighting valiantly against terrorists.  

The President prayed for the elevation of the ranks of Shaheed Muhammad Amin and expressed condolences with the bereaved family.

President Zardari expressed determination to continue operations till the complete elimination of Fitna-al-Khawarij from the country. He said the entire nation stands alongside the security forces in the war against terrorism.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif prayed for the higher ranks for the departed soul and commiserated with the bereaved family.

He said that the entire nation salutes the security forces and stands alongside them in the war against terrorism. Shehbaz Sharif said we are committed to rooting out all forms of terrorism.
