Pakistan’s Security Forces Kill Three Terrorists in Karak Operation

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces killed three terrorists and injured four others during an intelligence-based operation in the Karak district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, on Saturday on the reported presence of terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release.

According to ISPR, on March 2, 2024, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Karak district, on the reported presence of terrorists. “During the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and the terrorists, as a result of which three terrorists were sent to hell, while four terrorists got injured,” ISPR stated in the press release.

Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in various terrorist activities against law enforcement agencies (LEAs) as well as innocent civilians, ISPR stated.

A sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
