RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces killed two terrorists during an intelligence-based operation on the reported presence of terrorists in the Kalat district of Balochistan, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release on Saturday.

According to ISPR, on the night of 6/7 September, Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Kalat district of Balochistan, on the reported presence of terrorists.

During the conduct of the operation, Pakistani troops surrounded and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and sent two terrorists to hell, ISPR stated.

Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against Security Forces as well as innocent civilians.

A sanitization operation is underway to neutralize any other terrorists present in the area.

“Security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan,” ISPR resolved.
