Pakistan’s Security Forces Kill Two Terrorists in Kech IBO

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Zerber area of Kech district of southwestern Balochistan province, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Saturday.

According to ISPR, the security forces conducted operation on the night of 6/7 October in the Zerber area of Kech district on the reported presence of wanted terrorists.

During the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists as a result of which two terrorists were killed, ISPR said in its statement. A large quantity of equipment and explosives has also been recovered from the killed terrorists, ISPR added.

“The killed terrorists had been actively involved in several terrorist activities against the law enforcement agencies,” said ISPR in the statement.

“Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Pakistan’s security forces are committed to thwart enemies’ efforts against peace in the country,” the statement added.
