RIYADH: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Jawad Sohrab Malik, on Friday visited the headquarters of Alfanar company, a mega power and construction company in Saudi Arabia, an official statement said.
According to the statement he was received warmly by the CEO Sabah Al-Mutlaq and the Deputy CEO Muhammad Al-Mutlaq. He was accompanied by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq.
Alfanar is a leading power and construction company in Saudi Arabia with a strong presence in the region. The company has a 20 percent workforce from Pakistan and is looking to hire more Pakistani professionals in upcoming projects.
The statement said that SAPM Jawad Sohrab Malik, on the occasion noted that Pakistan has a large number pool of skilled experienced professionals working in Saudi Arabia in different fields, including IT, healthcare, and engineering.

He said Pakistani government is committed to further strength economic ties with Saudi Arabia and creating mutually beneficial opportunities for both the state.
CEO Sabah Al Mutlaq expressing his views said his company is impressed with the high quality of Pakistani manpower and their contributions to the Saudi economy. He said that they are looking forward to hire more Pakistani workers for future projects.
