Pakistan’s Under-12 Tennis Team Leave for Kazakhstan

ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan’s Under-12 tennis team has departed for Kazakhstan to take part in the Asian Under-12 Tournament and a training camp. The team will contest in the ATF Under-12 mega event and will also attend a three-week training camp.

The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) said that the team will compete in the ATF Under-12 Championship, which will be organized in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. Around 12 teams will take part in the event from September 16 to 21.  The Pakistani team comprises three players: Muhammad Junaid, Shayaan Afridi, and Rashid Ali.

Moreover, during their tour, the Pakistani team will also conduct a three-week training camp in the central Asian country. The training camp will include a session before the Tournament and a two-week session after the championship. This training program has been scheduled under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Kazakhstan and Pakistan Tennis Federations.
