ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) will host a literary seminar on ‘National consciousness in literature’ on March 21 to mark Pakistan National Day.
The seminar aims to foster national awareness and underscore the significance of literature as a vital indicator of a society’s health. Throughout history, stories and epics have been instrumental in portraying a favorable and influential image of society.
Therefore, cultivating literature in diverse forms and genres is essential, ensuring that future generations are acquainted with their history and instilling a sense of national consciousness and affection for Pakistan as a state.
The seminar will be chaired by esteemed literary figure Fateh Muhammad Malik, with Dr. Saleem Mazhar, DG National Language Promotion Department, serving as the guest of honor. Dr. Najiba Arif, Chairperson PAL, along with Dr. Naheed Qamar and Dr. Manzoor, will give insights on the seminar’s topic. Rehman Hafeez will moderate the event.
