The patriotic fashion trend has brought surge in sales for online retailers, with many reporting a 20 to 30% surge in orders in the lead-up to Independence Day. People are eager to showcase their patriotism through fashion, driving demand for green clothing, footwear and accessories”, said an online retailer while offering around 50% discount on dresses ahead of Azadi day.

A university student, Sadia Hasan said that she is very happy as online retailers are offering such a wide range of patriotic fashion items. She added that it makes it easy to find something that fits her style.
A renowned fashion brand owner said that the patriotic fashion trend has brought a much-needed boost to their sales. He said that online platforms have made it so easy for them to reach a wider audience and sell their patriotic products especially dresses.
Citizens said that they have decorated their cars with stickers and flags, all bought online. It’s a great way to show their patriotism.
