LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced the schedule for the inaugural Champions One-Day Cup, set to begin on September 12.
The tournament, which promises to feature the top 150 cricketers from across the country, will be held at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
The tournament will feature a single-league format, with each of the 14 matches scheduled to start at 3pm local time, except for a notable exception on September 16. On that day, the match between the Lions and Panthers will begin at 9:30am to accommodate the live broadcast of the Pakistan women’s versus South Africa women’s T20 International match.
The opening fixture of the Champions One-Day Cup will see the Wolves take on the Panthers on September 12. The group stage will continue with matches between all participating teams, culminating in a series of playoffs. The final is slated for September 29.

September 12: Wolves vs. Panthers

September 16: Lions vs. Panthers (9:30am)

The PCB also announced the five champion mentors and their teams on Monday. The details regarding the 15-player squads for each team will be announced in the coming days.
