ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for an exciting tri-nation ODI series featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa.
The series, set to be played from February 8 to February 14, will be hosted at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium.
According to the PCB, the tri-series will adopt a single-league format, with all teams playing one match against each other before the final.
The opening game will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday, February 8, with the match starting at 2:00 pm local time.
The second match will see New Zealand take on South Africa on Monday, February 10, in a day game, with the toss scheduled for 9:00 am.
The series will then move to Karachi, where Pakistan will play against South Africa in a day-night match on Wednesday, February 12, beginning at 2:00 pm.
The series final will be played on Friday, February 14, at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, also starting at 2:00 pm local time.
Preparations for Champions Trophy
The PCB has been upgrading facilities at the two venues in preparation for hosting the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in February and March.
Gaddafi Stadium has seen its spectator capacity increased, with new chairs installed throughout the venue. Additionally, 480 state-of-the-art LED lights and two giant digital replay screens have been added to enhance the match experience.

Similarly, Karachi’s National Bank Stadium has undergone significant upgrades, including the installation of 350 LED lights, two replay screens, and 5,000 new spectator chairs.
These renovations are part of the PCB’s efforts to ensure world-class facilities for upcoming international events.
Training schedules
Ahead of the series, the Pakistan and New Zealand teams will conduct practice sessions under lights at Gaddafi Stadium on February 6, while South Africa will have their first practice session at the venue on the morning of February 9.
