LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Faisal Hasnain on Friday congratulated the Ireland women Cricket team and the Bangladesh U19 cricket team on their successful visit to Lahore and Multan.
PCB is delighted to host Ireland and the Bangladesh U-19 teams.
According to a press release issued by PCB, the Chief Executive said they were delighted to host the Ireland and the Bangladesh U-19 teams on their tours to Pakistan. He hoped that the teams enjoyed hospitality, experienced Pakistan’s rich culture, history and passion for the cricket.
He hoped that Irish women would visit Pakistan by March 2023 to take part in the Women’s League. He also expressed good wishes for Bangladesh U-19 team.
PCB wants to create opportunities for new talents.
He said that the key objective of PCB is to create opportunities for country’s talented and emerging players, and give them a way to enable the new talent to achieve their objectives, and goals as professional players of the cricket.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has always enjoyed good cordial relationships with Bangladesh Cricket Board and Cricket Ireland and the two sides have jointly worked closely for encouraging and supporting each other’s cricket promotion, he added.

He said that this relationship will continue to further enhance and expect more such trips in upcoming days. The PCB Chief Executive said that as part of country’s diamond jubilee year, they did a lot for the cricket as well.
He thanked the entire PCB staff as organized several domestic and international events. He said that they are working to host English team in December. He said that they will fulfil their commitments for the year to their fans and followers, and enhance Pakistan’s image as a sports loving people.
He said that they welcome foreign teams, visitors and delivers high quality cricket events to world class levels. APP
