ISLAMABAD: Indulge in the refreshing and flavorful Peach Squash in this summer. This recipe allows you to store and enjoy a delightful drink whenever you desire at the comfort of your home.
Instructions:
- In a pan, boil the peaches in 1 cup of water. Cook until soft.
- Grind the peaches into a puree, then cook for another 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the stove.
- In a separate pan, boil 1 ½ cups of water. Add sugar and cook until the syrup thickens.
- Add the peach puree to the syrup and cook for 10 minutes. Then, add the lemon juice. Remove from the stove, let it cool to room temperature, and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or until chilled.
- Pour the mixture into an airtight jar and store for up to 2 weeks.
- To serve, mix ½ cup of squash with 2 cups of water and serve chilled.
