Instructions:

  1. In a pan, boil the peaches in 1 cup of water. Cook until soft.
  2. Grind the peaches into a puree, then cook for another 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the stove.
  3. In a separate pan, boil 1 ½ cups of water. Add sugar and cook until the syrup thickens.
  4. Add the peach puree to the syrup and cook for 10 minutes. Then, add the lemon juice. Remove from the stove, let it cool to room temperature, and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or until chilled.
  5. Pour the mixture into an airtight jar and store for up to 2 weeks.
  6. To serve, mix ½ cup of squash with 2 cups of water and serve chilled.
