Periodic Maintenance and Perfuming of Holy Kaaba Performed

MAKKAH: The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques recently carried out periodic maintenance and perfuming of the Holy Kaaba, the holiest site in Islam located in the city of Makkah.

The process was carried out under the supervision of the Presidency’s President, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, who stressed the importance of the Holy Kaaba in the hearts of Muslims.

According to Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais, King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman have made it a priority to harness all human capabilities and modern technologies to take care of the Two Holy Mosques.

The Presidency has always taken great care to perfume the Holy Kaaba with the most luxurious essentials and to maintain the Kiswa, the black cloth covering the Kaaba with the finest kind of silk.

The great significance of Holy Kaaba for Muslims

The Holy Kaaba holds great significance for Muslims, and the General Presidency’s efforts to maintain and purify it reflect the importance of the Two Holy Mosques in Islam.

The Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet (peace be upon him) urge Muslims to glorify the Holy Kaaba, and the General Presidency’s efforts to care for it reflect this importance.

The periodic maintenance and perfuming of the Holy Kaaba is a crucial aspect of the General Presidency’s responsibilities. Through their dedication to this task, they ensure that the Holy Kaaba remains a symbol of the unity of Muslims worldwide and a sacred site for generations to come.
