PESHAWAR: In his latest bashing against his former political boss, Imran Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) chief Pervez Khattak on Saturday accused former premier and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman of hatching a conspiracy to bring about a “revolution” against the Pakistan Army adding that former Principal Secretary Azam Khan was the de-facto boss of all government affairs.

While talking to journalists, the PTI-P Chairman said that after the incident of May 9, the PTI should be banned. During the media talk former chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan was also present.

Pervez Khattak, who launched his new political party last month after PTI terminated his basic party membership, also claimed that Imran Khan was against the 18th Amendment and wanted to revoke it.

Pervez Khattak Denies Khan’s Allegations Against Bajwa

Responding to a question, Khattak denied Khan’s allegations against the former chief of army staff, Qamar Javed Bajwa, and said that “Gen Bajwa supported us [PTI] a lot”, adding that, however, Bajwa later excused himself from further support as the Khan-led had failed to deliver.

While commenting on calling the election by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pervez Khattak said that he predicted the elections in February 2024.
