PESHAWAR: In a heart-wrenching incident, a Peshawar man shot dead three persons including his wife and child on Sunday, local media reported quoting police sources.
According to the police, the incident took place in Pakha Ghulam area in the limits of Shahpur police station. The man named Kifayat reached the home of his in-laws to persuade his angry wife to return home. After having failed to convince his angry wife, the man opened fire that resulted in the death of two persons including his wife and a child and injuries to two others, said the police. Kifayat fled the scene after killing the two persons while raids were being conducted to arrest the assassinator, the police added.
Another family dispute
Separately, a man murdered his wife, brother-in-law, father-in-law and two others over a family dispute in Okara city of the Punjab province. According to details, a man identified as Rafiq, gunned down his wife, father-in-law, brother-in-law and two others during separate attacks at Mandi Road and Latifabad.
