SKARDU: As part of its initiative to promote tourism, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Saturday announced restoring flight operations between Skardu and Karachi, starting June 4.
Initially, PIA will operate two flights weekly, every Sunday and Wednesday using Airbus-320.
A PIA spokesperson said that the restarting of airline operations will allow visitors to explore the region of Skardu, which is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, mountains, and cultural diversity.
Adventurers, nature lovers, and history enthusiasts may have a beautiful experience in Skardu, tucked away in the Karakoram mountain range. Before this, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) declared that starting on June 3, flight service between Lahore and Skardu would be resumed.
