PIDE to Unveil ‘Reform Manifesto’ for Socio-Economic Transformation of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) is set to unveil its ‘PIDE Reform Manifesto’ for the Socio-Economic transformation of the country.

In a major development in national transformation, the PIDE will unveil its groundbreaking titled ‘PIDE Reform Manifesto: Transforming Economy and Society’ on Monday in a local hotel in Islamabad, it said in a statement.

It said that following extensive consultations with key stakeholders in Karachi, Quetta, Lahore, Gwadar, and Peshawar, this comprehensive manifesto aims to chart a visionary course for the country’s economic and societal evolution.

It further said that the event promises to be a gathering of influential voices, bringing together practitioners, professionals, policymakers, the business community, researchers, policy experts, private-sector investors, academics, analysts, and youth representatives.

These diverse perspectives will converge in sessions spanning multiple themes, providing a platform for in-depth deliberations and discussions on future economic and public policy priorities. The sessions will also explore practical measures to navigate challenges and set the trajectory for sustainable development.
