ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday congratulated the team of Pakistan for winning the Central Asia Volleyball Championship, praising their performance and teamwork.
Pakistan won the Central Asian Volleyball Championship title beating Turkmenistan 3-1 in the final match at the Liaquat Gymnasium here in Islamabad.
In the final match, Pakistan emerged victorious after winning three sets while Turkmenistan managed to win only one set.
The prime minister on his X timeline said: superb performance! Pakistan wins the Central Asia Volleyball Championship. Talent and teamwork at its best.
He said the Pakistan team won all the six matches during the tournament.
