PM Kakar Assures Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government of Full Support

PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has assured the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government that the Federal Government would ensure all possible cooperation for the welfare of the people of the province.

The Caretaker Prime Minister arrived in Peshawar on a one-day visit. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali and the Caretaker Chief Minister Azam Khan called on the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Peshawar.

During the meeting, PM Kakar was briefed about the law and order situation and other affairs of the province. PM Kakar assured that the Federal Government would ensure all possible cooperation for the welfare of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

Earlier, the Caretaker Prime Minister offered Fateha and laid a floral wreath at the grave of former President Ghulam Ishaaq Khan in Peshawar. He also offered Fateha and laid a floral wreath at the grave of Former FC Commandant Shaheed Sifwat Ghayur.

The Prime Minister prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of their souls in paradise. On the occasion, a smartly turned contingent of frontier constabulary (FC) presented a salute to martyred Sifwat Ghayur.

The Prime Minister paid tributes to the martyred and commended his services to the nation and the country. He said Sifwat Ghayur had sacrificed his life for a great cause. He maintained that the nation is indebted to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the security of the country.

PM Kakar will chair a meeting on the law and order situation and will meet with a delegation of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
