ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has tasked the newly appointed Community and Labour Welfare Attachés in Pakistani missions abroad with a crucial mandate: to seek employment opportunities for skilled workers from Pakistan.
In a meeting in Islamabad, he emphasized the need for these attachés to actively engage in attracting businesses and investment back to the country.
Sharif highlighted the importance of the welfare of the Pakistani community abroad, recognizing overseas Pakistanis as valuable assets who contribute significantly to the nation’s economy through remittances.
He urged the attachés to prioritize Pakistan’s interests and enhance its image globally. By fostering employment opportunities and investment, the Prime Minister aims to strengthen the ties between Pakistan and its diaspora, ensuring their contributions continue to uplift the nation.
