PM Shehbaz Invites Chinese Firm to Invest in Mining Sector

ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited Chinese firm to invest in mining Sector in Pakistan. He expressed these remarks during a meeting with a Chinese delegation firm MCC Tongsin Resources led by Chairman Wang Jaichen. The PM asked the delegation to invest in mining sector and manufacturing of export goods.

Shehbaz Sharif also assured the delegation that his government would provide all-out facilitation to the firm from minerals exploration, and also processing to the export of goods.

The PM instructed the relevant ministers and officers to continue consultation with the Chinese company, taking the Chief Minister Balochistan, provincial departments and all stakeholders onboard.

The delegation members reposed trust and confidence in the PM’s leadership and expressed keen interest in enhancing their investment in Pakistan’s minerals and mining sectors.

The firm delegation briefed Shehbaz Sharif about construction of a mineral park in Pakistan and their upcoming investment plans. Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the Chinese company and highlighted the priority measures by his government to promote and encourage foreign investment in Pakistan.

He said that being a time-tested friend, Beijing supported Islamabad in every difficult hour for which Pakistan was grateful to Chinese people and its leadership.
