DOHA: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited Qatari businessmen for investment in main fields of Pakistani’s economy.
According to media reports, he has extended the invitation during a meeting with a delegation of the Qatar Businessmen Association, which called on him in Doha, Qatar.
The Prime Minister has discussed deepening economic relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
He has also highlighted the numerous opportunities in fields such as infrastructure, energy, and finance, presenting Pakistan as an attractive destination for investment.
Each of these delegates have showed interest in Pakistan’s economic landscape and especially in upcoming projects in technology, energy, as well as infrastructure development. During the meeting, the two sides also explored potential collaborations and cooperation that could drive innovation, job opportunities and sustainable development in both nations.
Members of the Qatar Businessmen Association also responded positively to the PM’s invitation, showing their interest in expanding their investments into Pakistan’s infrastructure and energy sectors.
Significance of bilateral cooperation to enhance economic growth and stability within the region was underscored in the meeting.
Pakistan’s Deputy PM and Minister for Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar, Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Finance Mohammad Aurangzeb, Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, and Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar were also present in the meeting.
