ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned the federal cabinet meeting today (Monday) in Islamabad to discuss the economic and political situation in the country.
Prime Minister would preside over the meeting at the PM office. It would discuss a nine-point agenda, a local TV reported.
Extending Afghan refugees’ stay in Pakistan is included in the agenda. Its two-year extension ended on 30 June and the Home Ministry is advocating for another six-month extension.
The cabinet would also address the potential ratification of five-year national sports policy and Higher Education Commission (HEC) Amendment Bill.
Moreover, the waste disposal project in Islamabad is also part of the meeting agenda.
