ISLAMABAD: Interim Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Tuesday emphasized the need for the global community to play an urgent role to stop Israeli aggression against Palestinians.
He shared these views during a meeting at the PM House with Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, the Special Representative of the Prime Minister for Religious Harmony and the Pakistani diaspora in the Middle East and Islamic Countries.
Maulana Ashrafi and PM Kakar both vehemently denounced Israel’s continuous genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
They expressed their support for the forthcoming meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah, which will address the worsening conditions in Palestine.
Maulana Ashrafi admired the interim government’s initiatives to foster religious harmony among different faiths.
During the event, the prime minister commended Maulana Tahir Ashrafi for his dedicated endeavors in improving the well-being of Pakistani nationals living in the Middle East and various other Islamic nations. —APP
